GENERAL MEETING
The general meeting of the Tri-Boro Area Chamber of Commerce was called to order by Jerry Vinci at 12:20 with a salute to the flag. A moment of silence was observed in tribute to our veterans. Four officers and two trustees were present.
A motion to accept the minutes from the October 14, 2009 meeting was made by Lucille Brule and seconded by Jim Affinito.
APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Three new membership applications were submitted for approval.

Retiring in Comfort Workshop – Sandra Rostek – Hazlet, NJ
A motion was made by Lucille Brule to accept the new members and seconded by
Karen Austin.
TREASURER’S REPORT
The Treasurer’s Report was read by Denise Brewster.
Checking Account - $2,308.60
Money Market - $5,012.37
A motion was made by Vivian Vinci to accept the Treasurer’s report and seconded by Mike Hauck.
BILLS AND COMMUNICATIONS
A. Bills to be approved for payment were as follows:
1. Web site design and maintenance for 2009 $750.00
2. Fire Fighter Phil – Ad in Fire Prevention Books $199.00
A motion to pay the bills was made by Elaine Gordon and seconded by Mike Hauck.
B. Communications
1. Blythe Bedell introduced the TREPS program which is to take place this Spring in the Butler School system. It is a program which teaches students the basics of business ownership.
2. The Riverdale Art Center (RAC) grand opening was observed on 11/07/09.
C. Committee Reports
Nominating Committee – Based on interest expressed by the incumbent Trustees, Howard Ball and Bill Stanton, Lina Pagliarulo indicated both would like to serve an additional term. Michael Hauck is to serve as a no vote alternative to the Trustees. Lina Pagliarulo placed a motion to accept the Trustees. Lucille Brule moved to second the motion. The Trustee term is set to expire December 31, 2011.
OLD BUSINESS
Jerry Vinci reminded attendees to take advantage of the member to member discounts available on our website www.triborochamber.org.
NEW BUSINESS
- The drawing for the annual raffle to benefit our Scholarship fund was held at 1:00PM

- The election of Four officers, President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer was held. K.C. Smith moved that the Secretary nominate all incumbent officers to serve additional one year terms. Karen Austin seconded the motion.

- Jerry Vinci suggested a tribute to Howard Ball naming him as “Man of the Year”.
Dave Warfield moved to accept the motion. Lucille Brule seconded.
- The “Toys for Tots” train was scheduled to stop at Butler on 12/13/09.

- See Ed Morba for information on the Kinnelon Optimist Club’s Beefsteak Dinner to be held on 01/30/10. Tickets are $45.00 each.
